Lucas Bergvall's chances of joining Man United are seemingly improving after some top UK bookmakers shortened the odds on a deal being agreed.
Bergvall has reportedly handed in a transfer request at Spurs as he anticipates falling down Roberto De Zerbi's midfield pecking order for the season ahead.
The 20-year-old has seen the club complete big-money deals for both Sandro Tonali and Mateus Fernandes this summer.
He boasts several suitors across the Premier League as it stands, including Newcastle, Nottingham Forest and Aston Villa.

The Magpies remain the favourites to sign Bergvall this summer, at odds of 10/11, while Forest are priced at 5/2 and Brighton come in at 10/3.
All of their odds have drifted in the last few days, while United's have been slashed to 7/1 after they reportedly contacted Spurs over a deal for the 20-year-old.

Bergvall featured 33 times for Spurs last season, but was only handed 11 league starts under three different bosses and sat on the bench for their vital last two matches of the campaign.
He has made it clear that he wants to stay in the Premier League if he leaves, with sources revealing to Football Insider that Newcastle are planning to outbid Forest for Bergvall again soon.
De Zerbi was asked about his future on Wednesday morning after their win against Sydney, and he offered a detailed, yet surprising, response on the situation.
The Italian boss told reporters: "The situation is clear, he wants space and to play in a double pivot, but I cannot give a guarantee to any player that he can play.
"He was right that he wants to play as a central midfielder. I would like he stays, but if he doesn't want I can do nothing. He will then have to speak to Vinai or Johan. He has to have the right spirit to stay."
