Clinton Morrison is unlikely to be welcomed to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with open arms after his latest comments on Thomas Frank.

Igor Tudor has been appointed to save Tottenham from Premier League relegation, with the team currently just one point above the relegation zone with nine games remaining.

Frank lasted just eight months as Spurs boss, taking over from Ange Postecoglou during the summer, only to win 27 per cent of his Premier League games in charge in North London.

Tottenham's manager search will already be active, with Tudor only in charge until the end of the 2025-26 season, but Morrison believes that the Lilywhites might be regretting their change in the dugout.

Tottenham wrong to sack Thomas Frank, claims Clinton Morrison

After suggesting that the Lilywhites were wrong for sacking Frank and that his demise was due to the pressure from fans, many have flooded onto social media to make their feelings clear.

Calling the Sky Sports reporter "ridiculous," "embarrassing," and having "no idea about football," it is safe to say that the majority of supporters believe he could not be further from the truth.

The comments have not gone down well at all, with the clip going viral on social media. Although Frank's arrival was initially met with a lot of positivity, fans are unlikely to welcome him back with open arms either.

  • @KierenFlanagan: "Honestly, people who say he should have kept Frank have no idea about football. Why do you think we are near the bottom in the first place? The issue is Frank should have been sacked earlier, and we brought in a proper manager."
  • @Ayhd126H: "It's okay, guys, we're the idiots... Frank won 2 PL games in 18 due to fan pressure. Poor Thomas."
  • @literatureading: "'They shouldn’t be in that position, but they also should have kept the man who put them there' - look at the fools they have speaking on Sky Sports, oh my god."

Who could replace Igor Tudor at Tottenham?

Tudor is under growing pressure, having lost all three of his games in charge so far, and Mick Brown has now revealed to Football Insider that Glenn Hoddle, Tim Sherwood and Harry Redknapp are contenders.

Upcoming games against Liverpool, Nottingham Forest and Sunderland are all season-defining clashes, but future matches against Wolves and Leeds United are by far the most key.

The current manager is already running out of time to prove himself, with some fans already keen to make another switch in the dugout for the remaining games of the season.

First, Spurs must take on Atletico Madrid in the Champions League, but success in Europe will not be the priority when Premier League survival is on the line.
