Paulo Dybala has hinted at a move to Tottenham by reacting to their official confirmation of Marcos Senesi's arrival on social media.

Senesi had long been linked with a move to Tottenham as he was expected to leave Bournemouth following the conclusion of the recent campaign.

The Cherries recently confirmed that the centre-back was set to leave this summer at the end of his contract after rejecting several new deal offers.

Spurs have now officially announced that he will join the club on 1 July when his Bournemouth contract expires.

They took to Instagram to welcome him on Wednesday, saying: "Our latest Lilywhite. We are delighted to announce the signing of Marcos Senesi."

Their message was reacted to by Roma forward Dybala, who has been linked with a move to Spurs ahead of the summer window.

Senesi will both be aiming to fire Spurs back up the Premier League table under Roberto De Zerbi, and could be joined by his one-time Argentina teammate this summer.

Marcos Senesi's career path outlined as Tottenham move made official

29-year-old Senesi has made 116 appearances in the Premier League since leaving Feyenoord for Bournemouth in 2022.

He began his professional career in 2016 with his boyhood club San Lorenzo and made the move to the Eredivisie in 2019.

Senesi helped Feyenoord to the Conference League final in 2022 before joining the Cherries, and racked up 116 appearances for the Dutch giants.

He has been a regular in Bournemouth's defence over the last four seasons, while picking up three caps for Argentina as a result of his strong performances.

Senesi was recently voted the 2025-26 Players' Player of the Year by his Cherries teammates after ending the season with five assists in 39 outings.

Could Dybala join Spurs this summer?

Dybala and Senesi have played together once for Argentina, but neither player is going to the World Cup with the country this summer.

The Roma star is expected to be on the move this summer after registering three goals and seven assists in 27 appearances last term.

Football Insider recently revealed that Spurs have registered their interest in Dybala again this summer after failing to sign him back in 2019.

His latest interaction on social media could point to a deal being on the table for him to finally move to North London.
