Tottenham Hotspur appear set to face their first incoming offer of the summer for centre-back Cristian Romero.

The Argentine's future in North London has been called into question in recent months, after a campaign that has brought yet more controversial moments.

Brown made it clear that Tottenham are planning for Romero to walk away from them at the earliest opportunity, which could now be to join United.

It would undoubtedly pain the North Londoners to see him walk away to a Premier League rival, but they will surely just be glad to see the back of him.
