Paul Robinson has suggested there are divisions in the Tottenham dressing room between player and manager.

Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former White Hart Lane number one said the performance against Arsenal speaks volumes about the squad's relationship with Nuno Espirito Santo.

Tottenham have failed to win in 90 minutes in their last five fixtures across all competitions following a 3-1 loss to Arsenal in the north London derby.

However, what will be more worrying to Espirito Santo is the manner in which his side have lost the games.

Spurs rank 20th in the Premier League for shots and chances created this term, while they have also covered less distance than any other side. (BBC)

When asked by Football Insider's Dylan Childs for his assessment of Tottenham's woes, Robinson, who is still well connected at his old club, said: "The team looks lost.

"I think there's divisions in the dressing room between some players and the manager. Certain players do not look like they're buying into what he is doing. Something it not right.

"If the rumours I hear are to be believed, there is divisions in the camp and the manager has lost certain players. It rings true when you see the performance at the weekend."

Speaking after the Arsenal defeat, Espirito Santo told Sky Sports: “The decisions were not according to the game plan and I take responsibility.

“I won’t name individuals, but the game plan was not right according to the players who were on the pitch.”
