Paul Robinson is "worried" about Antonio Conte's future at Tottenham amid reported interest from Juventus.

Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former White Hart Lane number one said Juventus are in a different "bracket" to Spurs.

Conte has entered the final 12 months of his contract at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

According to Italian journalist Paolo Bargiggia on Twitter (14 September), the 53-year-old will not renew his contract with the north London club.

Bargiggia suggested Conte is keen on a return to Juventus at the end of the 2022-23 campaign.

Massimiliano Allegri's position in Turin is uncertain after an indifferent start to the season.

When asked by Football Insider for his assessment of Conte's future, Robinson said: "It is always a worry with Conte because he is a world-class manager.

"So long as Spurs are without a trophy or a serious challenge in the Premier League or Champions League he will be linked with other jobs. He is a top-class manager and other teams are going to want him.

"It is very important that he feels as if he is getting the necessary support from the club. He is building something at Tottenham. I feel like they are on the verge of something special.

"You would expect that after a year he is emotionally attached. Hopefully that is enough to keep him there because massive clubs are going to one knocking.

"Right now you cannot put Spurs in the same bracket as Juventus."
