Tottenham insider fears Nuno will repeat 'atrocious' Mourinho blunder after update
Club insider John Wenham is concerned Tottenham will repeat last year’s north London derby performance this weekend.
Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels, insists the Gunners will be galvanised by their fans on Sunday.
Tottenham travel to The Emirates looking for a rare away win in this weekend’s derby game.
Last season, Tottenham lost 2-1 away to Arsenal despite Erik Lamela giving his side a first-half lead.
Wenham insists Mourinho set his side up to contain Arsenal last season and he is concerned Nuno Espirito Santo may make the same mistake.
“History tells us that old cliche is true,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.

“Form goes out of the window on derby day. That’s spot on. In Pochettino’s first London Derby we had just lost to West Brom.
“We gave a blood and guts performance to get a draw with players like Younes Koubal and Kyle Naughton.
“They completely shut down Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez. What worries me is we only have two wins away to Arsenal over the last 25 years or so.
“Whatever form we are in, it doesn’t matter. Last season Arsenal were poor and we couldn’t beat them, because Mourinho set us up wrong. He made a huge error.
“Our record at Arsenal is atrocious. We won there in 2009 under Harry Redknapp but before that, it was around 1993.
“Arsenal are always up for is and our record is awful. It’s also their first derby in front of fans.
“They will be all over us from minute one, they know how important it is.
“Even those new foreign players will know they have to put a shift in, I’m worried.”
