Tottenham insider tips Ndombele to 'demand' summer transfer after source's reveal
Tottenham midfielder Tanguy Ndombele could demand to stay at PSG if he joins the club on loan this month.
That is according to Spurs insider John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.
A Tottenham source told Football Insider on Friday (21 January) that Paris Saint-Germain are negotiating a loan deal for Ndombele while there is also now interest from Barcelona.
Spurs want all of Ndombele’s £200,000-a-week wages paid during the loan term.
Wenham can see the move being made permanent in the summer if he finds form in Paris.
“PSG are one of two or three clubs in the world who can afford his wages,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.

“They would be taking on that burden. I also think at PSG he has the chance to impress against poorer opposition.
“I just mean it would be him in the middle of the park passing it from side to side with the occasional skill move that would have people making compilations on YouTube.
“Hopefully that would do enough, I’m praying to god, he then joins PSG permanently in the summer.
“He has good relationships with some of the players over there. I almost hope he demands to stay if it goes well.
“Poch signed him for Spurs and it looks like he is going to come in and save us from him.
“I’m sure he will be brilliant over there and people will kick off at me saying we missed out or whatever.
“We’ve had him for three years and he’s done nothing. It’s like Soldado, his record in Spain was almost as good as Ronaldo’s.
“He was then rubbish for us, if you can’t do it over here, I’m not interested.”
Tottenham signed Ndombele from Lyon for a reported club-record fee of £55million in 2019.
On 4 October, Wenham told this site Ndombele will cost the club north of £110million if he sees out his contract with the club.
