Tottenham are one of the teams keeping tabs on Everton winger Ademola Lookman this summer, according to a report.
The Daily Mirror claims that Everton are going to holds talks this week with the 20-year-old about his future and the Toffees do not plan to sell him.
However, it is understood the English attacker is keen for a fresh start elsewhere after struggling for senior minutes at Goodison Park and he reaped the benefits of a loan in Germany during the second half of last season.
The report details that Spurs, Southampton and his former loan side RB Leipzig are keen on landing his signature.
Football Insider verdict:
If Everton had any sense they would have Lookman as a key part of their first team next season, but it may be taken out of the hands of their manager Marco Silva. The in-demand attacker is believed to want a fresh start and Spurs must go all out to land him if he becomes available ahead of any rivals. He is a left-winger with tremendous pace and technical ability, while Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino would definitely be able to get the best out of the England Under-21 international. Lookman played 11 times for Leipzig after joining on loan in January, scoring five goals and supplying four assists during a remarkable spell. The speed machine helped them qualify for the Europa League as a result and ticks a lot boxes in terms of what Spurs generally look for in a transfer target. With the right tutelage he could have a big future in the game and should be the latest English rising star to arrive in North London.
In other Tottenham transfer news, they have joined the hunt to sign a £18million-rated playmaker.
