Kenny makes bold Lloris prediction amid reported Ramsdale-Tottenham update
Hugo Lloris will quit Tottenham at the end of his current deal and that means Aaron Ramsdale may have the chance to usurp him between the sticks.
That is according to ex-Sheffield United goalkeeper Paddy Kenny, speaking exclusively to Football Insider after the Daily Mail reported on 10th June that Spurs are keen on the Blades shot-stopper.
Ramsdale, 23, was called up to the England squad yesterday to replaced the injured Dean Henderson.
Lloris set to enter the final year of his contract at Tottenham and had been widely linked with quitting the club this summer.
However, as revealed by Football Insider on 17th May, the Frenchman is set to stay in north London next season and perhaps beyond.
But Kenny insists that Ramsdale, who joined from Bournemouth for £19m last year, is capable of rivalling the World Cup winner for a place in the first team while he remains at the club.

“Me personally, I’d be waiting for a move where I can go and be number one,” he told Football Insider correspondent Adam Williams.
“But listen, it’s a chance to go to Spurs and Lloris has only got a year left. So there’s a good chance he’ll move on.
“I don’t think he’s been the best or the most consistent over the past few years anyway.
“So why not go there and challenge him for that spot? Ramsdale is still a young lad so it will be perfect for him to learn off someone like Lloris as well.”
Ramsdale signed for the Blades from Bournemouth in an £18.5million deal last summer and his contract expires in 2024.
Lloris meanwhile is set to enter his tenth season with Spurs.
