Pochettino makes sensational Tottenham transfer revelation after club contact confirmed
Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has admitted he is open to the sensational prospect of Real Madrid star Gareth Bale returning to the club in the summer.
The 28-year-old left Spurs to join Madrid for a world record fee in the summer of 2013.
However the forward is set to be made available for transfer in the summer and Pochettino has admitted he is open to the possibility of him returning to north London.
When asked if he is interested in the Real Madrid star Pochettino said: “Of course, he’s a fantastic player. He keeps contact with all the people here that worked here in the past,” as quoted by the Daily Express.
Spurs will return to their stadium White Hart Lane next year where Bale was a huge favourite among the Tottenham fans.
Pochettino admitted that Bale is still in regular contact with people at the club and refused to rule of the possibility of him returning, in what would be a sensational transfer.

Premier League rivals Manchester United remain long-term admirers of the player and have made attempts to sign him on numerous occasions, but it seems they could face competition for Spurs.
Since leaving Tottenham Bale has enjoyed a hugely successful career in Spain, winning three Champions League titles and one La Liga crown.
However, Pochettino must turn his attention to the Premier League clash with Stoke this afternoon. Spurs are without a win in their lat four Premier League games and will be looking to bounce back against the Potters at Wembley this afternoon.
In other Tottenham news, the club are eyeing up a swoop for this 20-year-old speed machine in January, according to a report.
