Ange Postecoglou does not have a release clause in his Tottenham contract amid links with Liverpool's managerial vacancy, sources have told Football Insider.

Reports in Postecoglou's native Australia have suggested the Spurs boss is in the frame to replace Jurgen Klopp at the end of this season.

The 58-year-old, who has previously revealed he is a Liverpool fan, is believed to be happy with the long-term project at Tottenham.

In any case, famously tough negotiator Daniel Levy will make luring Postecoglou away from north London extremely difficult for any interested side.

A well-placed source has told Football Insider that Tottenham are "comfortable" with the situation at present, with the ex-Celtic boss still having three years left on his deal.
