'RIP nay-sayers' - Twitter reacts as Kane hits 21 league goals for the second successive season
By Coral Barry
Harry Kane’s brace against Bournemouth took him to 21 goals in the Premier League – and it seems football fans have finally accepted he is not a one-hit wonder.
The striker, 22, has now equalled his league goal tally from last season and is the first player in England’s top division to reach 20 strikes this season.
Kane has also joined just four other Englishmen to manage 20 goals in successive seasons in the top flight and it is not just Tottenham fans who are singing his praises on Twitter.

Harry Kane is still only 22. He's that good it makes you forget how young he is, he's that good. Already 45 Premier League goals.

Kane has certainly put to bed some of his doubters this season, but there are still some skeptics out there.
@BeardedGenius Lets hope he's not a one season wonder like Harry Kane ????????

But it seems that Kane has enough followers to drown out the negativity as this reply to the above tweet demonstrates.

Kane’s goals helped Tottenham to a comfortable 3-0 on Sunday and to within five points of league leaders Leicester with seven games left to play.
In other Tottenham news, Mauricio Pochettino has sanctioned the pursuit of a £15million striker.
