Sources: Tottenham offered Newcastle United wonderkid Clark
Tottenham have been offered the chance to sign Newcastle United wonderkid Bobby Clark, Football Insider can reveal.
The 16-year-old, who is the son of Magpies legend Lee Clark, has already been in the media spotlight after breaking records at St James’ Park.
A Spurs source has told Football Insider they have been offered the chance in recent weeks via intermediaries to take Clark to London.
The Premier League giants are expected to run the rule over the teenager before making a decision.
Clark, a midfielder like his famous father, became the youngest-ever player to represent Newcastle Under-18s at the age of 14 years and 206 days.
He has also represented England Under-16s and has long been rated one of the best prospects in his age group at national level.

Clark was on the bench for the England side that lost 3-2 against their Wales counterparts at St George’s Park last month.
His progress has seemingly stalled at Newcastle after he made waves with his Under-18s debut as a substitute in August 2019.
The youngster has struggled for game time this season after being handed a scholarship deal by the north-east giants.
Back in 2019, Clark was linked with Man United, Man City, Chelsea and Bayern Munich.
His father Lee, 48, is a north-east legend after graduating from the Newcastle youth ranks to play more than 200 matches for the club across two spells.
He also had lengthy spells at Sunderland and Fulham before becoming a manager.
Former Birmingham City and Huddersfield Town boss Clark is currently in charge of Sudanese club Al-Merrikh.
