Tottenham pursuit of Tomas Soucek could hit the rocks as Antonio Conte stance reported - expert
West Ham will reject advances from Tottenham to sign Tomas Soucek.
That is the view of former Spurs and England number one Paul Robinson, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about the 27-year-old’s future at the London Stadium.
Soucek has just over two years remaining on his contract with the Irons.
Football Insider revealed (11 February) that the Hammers want to tie down the Czech Republic international to a new deal.
According to the Express (3 May), Tottenham and Juventus are interested in signing the £40million-rated midfielder.
Antonio Conte is said to be a big fan of Soucek.

When asked by Football Insider‘s Dylan Childs for his thoughts on a potential switch, Robinson said:
“Soucek is a player that I really like but I cannot see West Ham doing business with Spurs.
“They are two big rivals. West Ham are competing for European places now so they will see Spurs as competitors. I don’t think they will be keen to do business with them.
“Soucek is a player who could help Spurs though. [Rodrigo] Bentancur has been outstanding since he’s come in.
“I think they will be looking to get him a better partner though. Soucek would fit the bill in that sense. He’d improve the squad.
“I cannot see how that deal would go through though.”
Soucek has formed a formidable partnership with Declan Rice at West Ham.
The centre-midfielder has made 49 appearances across all competitions this term.
