Tottenham have been ranked the number one club in the United Kingdom for boasting the highest home attendance this season in all competitions.
The north London side are into their final year at White Hart Lane, which has seen them play their European fixtures at England’s iconic Wembley stadium due to construction work around the new ground.
Now, it was in Europe when Tottenham boasted the top figures of the club’s in the UK and TalkSPORT have tallied that Spurs’ 85,512 attendance at Wembley against Bayer Leverkusen in November is the best attendance of the season.
Astonishingly, the numbers are a huge 10,000 over the second highest with Manchester United’s attendance of 75,397 against West Brom falling directly behind.
Tottenham also play one further part in the list with the 60,039 totalled at Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium for the north London derby placing in third.

The list also includes the likes of Rangers, Celtic, Chelsea, Liverpool and West Ham in their new stadium, but none are able to top the attendance recorded at Wembley.
Now, Spurs’ European venture this campaign was largely forgettable, but fans will certainly like being ranked first in the UK and it is likely similar figures will be recorded next season as they plan to make the short move into England’s stadium next year.
