Tottenham fought back to earn a point against Manchester City thanks to a Dominic Solanke brace.

The pressure looked to be building on Spurs manager Thomas Frank further after Man City went into half-time with a 2-0 lead.

Spurs though pulled off a miraculous second half comeback, with Solanke's double denting Man City's title hopes.

It is a sixth Premier League game though without a win for Spurs, who remain in the bottom half of the table, and 12 points off the top four.

Randal Kolo Muani slammed for Man City display

Randal Kolo Muani joined Spurs on loan from PSG last summer, in a move which was supposed to bolster Frank's attacking ranks.

His performances in north London though have meant Spurs are considering terminating Kolo Muani's loan spell.

The Frenchman has scored just three goals in 24 appearances for the club, all of which have come in the Champions League.

Kolo Muani could join Juventus on the final day of the January window, with Solanke's return to form and fitness potentially accelerating the move.

Spurs fans feel Frank does not need Kolo Muani in the starting line-up when he has Solanke, with the 28-year-old having missed a large chunk of this season due to injury.

One supporter thought Kolo Muani was the "worst player on the field" against Man City, whilst another claimed he is in the "bottom three strikers in the league right now."

Tottenham could make late January move

Spurs have endured a positive Champions League campaign, with the club having finished fourth in the league phase table above the likes of Real Madrid and PSG.

Their Champions League exploits could help Spurs on the final day of the January window, with Frank still looking to strengthen his squad if he can.

Spurs have been told to back Frank and make a big signing, with the Dane encountering a difficult first season at the club.

Midfielder Conor Gallagher has been the only major addition to Frank's squad in January, with the England international joining from Atletico Madrid.

Gallagher has started every Premier League game since he joined Spurs, with the 25-year-old grabbing an assist against Man City.
