Tottenham tipped to accept Rodon bid after Nixon reveal - Campbell
Tottenham could accept an offer for Joe Rodon amid interest from Brighton in his signature.
That is the view of former Arsenal and Everton striker Kevin Campbell, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about the 23-year-old’s future in north London.
Spurs signed Rodon on a five-year deal last October and he impressed in his debut Premier League campaign.
According to The Sun‘s Alan Nixon (4th July), Brighton want to sign the Wales international to replace the potentially Arsenal-bound Ben White.
Seagulls boss Graham Potter hopes to lure his former Swansea player to the south-coast with the promise of regular first-team football.
When asked by Football Insider‘s Dylan Childs if Spurs would likely entertain offers for Rodon, Campbell said:

“I’m pretty sure Spurs will consider it, if an offer came in, and sell him.
“It all depends what is happening with others as well because apparently Alderweireld wants out. Can they afford to lose two or three of their current centre-halves? I’m not sure.
“Nuno will want to bring in a few of his own. He will be looking for a certain profile of centre-half because he likes to play three at the back.”
The Athletic reported on July 2nd that Alderweireld is hoping to leave Spurs with the club unlikely to stand in his way if a respectable offer arrives.
As revealed by Football Insider (8th July), Tottenham are closing in on the signing of a centre-half after Bologna’s Takehiro Tomiyasu agreed personal terms.
