Tottenham told to make Dele Alli U-turn after Hotspur Way reveal - pundit
Gabby Agbonlahor has insisted Tottenham need to give Dele Alli more time to adapt to Nuno Espirito Santo’s tactics.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Aston Villa and England attacker insisted Dele’s mixed performances this season are due to teething problems
The 25-year-old was frozen out under Jose Mourinho last season but has started all six Premier League games this term.
He had started the season well and scored the winner against Wolves last month.
However, Dele was dragged off at half-time against Arsenal at the weekend as they raced into a 3-0 lead by the interval.
A Spurs source has told Football Insider the club will try and sell him next summer.

It is understood he is an inconsistent trainer at their Hotspur Way headquarters and is seen as difficult to manage behind the scenes.
“You’ve still got to give him some time,” Agbonlahor told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley.
“It’s only six games in with a new manager and new tactics.
“The way he played against Arsenal it looked like he had been told to play in a certain way.
“Sometimes us as fans and neutrals we don’t understand the tactics the players are given. Dele Alli was probably told to play in a certain position that he’s not used to.
“He probably want to make his runs deep and at times he was stood as a striker.
“I think you have to give him more time to try and get used to this style of play.”
Dele still has three years left to run on his Tottenham contract.
The 37-cap England international last played for his country in June 2019.
