Tottenham told to win race to sign Ruben Neves as 'next level' claim made - pundit
Ruben Neves could take the Tottenham midfield to the next level as he looks to move away from Wolves.
That’s according to former Leeds United stopper Paddy Kenny, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about the Portugal star’s future.
The Catalan giants have reportedly labelled the wantaway midfielder a “priority” ahead of the summer window.
He has made 29 appearances in the Premier League this season.
Kenny claims Spurs should try and beat Barcelona to the signing of Neves as he can take the club’s midfield to the next level.

“If Neves wants to leave Wolves, Tottenham should be looking to do a deal there,” Kenny told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“As long as Conte stays, they are a club on the up. I think Wolves may have found their ceiling.
“The guy is a quality player, we have all seen the goals he scores and I want to see how would do at a club challenging for the Champions League.
“Barcelona is a pull but if Tottenham come in it means he probably doesn’t have to uproot his entire life.
“I think he is someone who can take that midfield to the next level so if he can be signed at a decent price, it’s a no brainer.”
Neves had made 208 appearances for Wolves since joining the club in the summer of 2017.
He has scored 24 goals and provided 12 assists for the club.
