Manchester United 21-year-old star delivers verdict on reported departure

Anthony Martial has reassured Manchester United fans that he does not want to join French champions Paris Saint-Germain.
The Mirror claimed PSG were keen to sign the 21-year-old with United ready to sanction a deal for the France international, who moved to Manchester for £42million from Monaco.
However, Martial reassured fans on his personal Twitter account as he told Old Trafford’s loyal following “don’t listen to the papers”.
Dont listen the papers it's wrong thanks Come on United ????

The report claims that Martial has plummeted down the pecking order at United, with Jesse Lingard, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Juan Mata and Marcus Rashford ahead of him.
However, Martial looks set to remain at Old Trafford as he looks to fight for his place in the United side under manager Jose Mourinho.

Still competing on four fronts after reaching the final of the EFL Cup and qualifying for the knockout stages of the Europa League, Martial could be handed a chance to shine.
Since his move to United, Martial has scored 25 goals for United in 78 league and cup appearances as well as providing 19 strikes in assists.
Two games into seven league and cup fixtures throughout February, Martial is expected to benefit from Mourinho’s rotation as he looks to keep his first-team stars fresh.
Football Insider verdict:
Signing him for an astounding fee of almost £60million, Martial is still young and although he has not proven his huge worth yet, time should be given to the attacker as he is still many years ahead of his prime. Martial has still managed six goals in 22 league and cup encounters this season, and still has plenty to offer Mourinho’s side. Lingard has failed to prove any kind of consistency or precision in front of goal, while Juan Mata and Marcus Rashford would prefer to play more centrally. That means keeping Martial at United is important as he provides both depth and a goalscoring eye from out wide.
