Gabby Agbonlahor can't believe that Harry Kane would sign a new contract with Tottenham considering the ongoing interest from Man United.

The former Aston Villa striker, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, believes the 29-year-old Spurs striker is running out of chances to leave north London.

Kane is still yet to win a major trophy at Tottenham since graduating from the club's youth academy in 2009.

Tottenham

He came close to joining Man City in 2021 but the move collapsed and the reigning Premier League champions instead turned their attention towards Erling Haaland as their new striker.

Man United are now keen on bringing Kane to Old Trafford, but Sky Sports reported on Wednesday (25 January) that he is open to signing a new contract at Tottenham.

Speaking to Football Insider's Ewan Kingsbury, Agbonlahor said: "I want to hear the words from Harry Kane himself because I still don’t believe that he’d sign a new contract.

"For Kane, it’s now or never.

"He either leaves this summer or stays at Spurs - he’s not getting a big move again.

"I don’t think he’s going to win what he wants to win at Spurs.

"At Manchester United he can still beat Alan Shearer’s scoring record in the Premier League.

"Manchester United will win a trophy before Spurs for sure.

Man United

"It doesn’t make sense for him to want to go to Man City so much he puts in a transfer request, but now he wants to stay when Man United want him.

"Something’s not right there and I want to hear it from the horse’s mouth."
