Arsenal are weighing up a swoop for Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman, sources have told Football Insider.

The 28-year-old has emerged as a target at the Emirates Stadium as transfer chiefs look to add more firepower to Mikel Arteta's squad this month.

Arsenal could swoop for Bayern star Coman in the January window after the injury to Bukayo Saka.

The Gunners will be without their talisman, 23, for months after he underwent a procedure following a hamstring injury he picked up in the win over Crystal Palace last month.

Coman has notched four goals and two assists in 19 appearances across all competitions this term but is currently out with an injury of his own.

The France international has started just six of a possible 15 Bundesliga games this term and has started just twice in the Champions League under Vincent Kompany.

Arsenal target eight-time Bundesliga winner Coman

Coman is under contract in Bavaria until June 2027 after penning his most recent extension three years ago.

He has made 212 total appearances for Bayern since joining from Juventus in 2017, scoring 67 goals and winning eight Bundesliga titles.

The 58-cap France international has also lifted the Champions League with the German giants.

Coman is primarily a left-sided winger but can feature on the right, the favoured flank of the absent Saka.
