Brazil wonderkid Nathan has completed a Chelsea medical as he puts the finishing touches to a £4.7million move to the Premier League club.

Football Insider

sources understand Chelsea are expected to confirm the signing of the 19-year-old wide forward, full name Nathan Allan de Souza, within the next 24 hours. He has spent the last two days in London undergoing medical examinations and finalising terms after being granted permission by his club Atletico Paranaense to hold talks with the Premier League leaders. Chelsea have agreed a fee rising to £4.7m for Nathan, who is regarded as one of the most exciting young players in Brazil, and are confident of clinching the signing this week. He could then be loaned out to gain first team experience. The teenager has been closely monitored by the Londoners following his performances in the World Under-17 Championships two years ago. Chelsea already have a strong Brazilian contingent, with Willian, Ramires, Oscar and Filipe Luis all in the senior squad and Lucas Piazon, 21, on loan at Eintracht Frankfurt.
