Graeme Murty delivered a fitness boost to Rangers fans with the news that Jamie Murphy is back in "full-contact" training after picking up a knock on his foot.

The Rangers manager said that he would be making the decision on Murphy as late as possible.

Murty was speaking at the pre-match press conference ahead of the most exciting Old Firm clash in a long time.

His injury news was posted on the official Rangers Twitter page.

Football Insider verdict:

Rangers take on Celtic at Ibrox on Sunday at midday in a game that could see the gap at the top of the Premiership table reduced to just three points. Fans are reaching fever pitch and everyone seems to think the game could go either way. Murphy joined from Brighton on loan in January, has played seven Premiership games since then, scoring two goals. He'll be an important part of Murty's jigsaw as he aims to send a seismic shock through Scottish football on Sunday.
