Done deal: Juventus confirm signing of Liverpool midfielder Emre Can
Juventus have completed a deal for Liverpool midfielder Emre Can on a four-year deal.
He completed a medical in Turin today and officially becomes a Juventus player when his Liverpool contract expires on July 1.
Juventus also announced that as a result of the deal, they will incur additional costs of £14million to be paid over the next two years.

Wow, no wonder Emre Can was happy to run his contract down at Liverpool. Juventus have made the financial information available to their shareholders and the additional £14million is likely to be a signing-on fee for Can. That works out to an additional £134k-a-week on top of his wages for the first two years of his contract. Can's a great player but that is a serious amount of money and deals like this will convince players that running down contracts is the way to go in the future. We don't know what his actual salary is but it's likely to be in six figures a week making Can a very, very rich footballer. The 24-year-old is definitely talented but Liverpool fans won't be too happy that he's taken the money over the promise of a run at the Premier League title with Jurgen Klopp. Arsene Wenger said that players running their contracts down would become more commonplace in the future, and this is a deal that might prove to be a turning point.
