Done deal: Wolves striker secures Molineux exit

Shrewsbury have confirmed that they have signed Niall Ennis on a season-long loan from Wolves.
The League One side announced on their official Twitter account on Wednesday evening that the 18-year-old striker had secured his temporary exit from Molineux.
Shrewsbury also confirmed on their official website that the England Under-18 international was set to meet his new team-mates in training on Thursday ahead of a friendly clash with Burton at the weekend.
News outlet HITC had previously reported that a deal between Wolves and Shrewsbury was put in place so that Ennis could earn invaluable first-team experience in his stint with the Shropshire outfit.
It was also understood that several other Football League clubs had approached Wolves with enquiries about the teenager, who is one of many highly-rated products of the club's prestigious academy.
Ennis has not yet featured in the Wolves senior squad, and it seems that he is likely to slip further down the pecking order at Molineux should Nuno Espirito Santo decide to bolster his attacking options ahead of next season.
The West Midlands club have been ruthless in the transfer market so for this summer, but are yet to splash the cash on a proven goal scorer to spearhead their attack.

Wolves have been very busy this summer but Nuno still has to add a new striker to his squad, otherwise his fresh midfield including Ruben Neves won't have someone to supply the goals to. Nouha Dicko and Joe Mason simply aren't cut out for playing alongside such highly-rated players, so it would only make sense to bring someone in and bring a lot more balance to his side's offensive play. Ennis' loan move to Shrewsbury ticks a lot of boxes for all those concerned in the deal. The youngster should get some good first-team experience, which is vital for the player's progression, while Shrewsbury will have on their hands a very exciting talent who can help them avoid relegation next season.
