Tottenham could accept offers for Yves Bissouma ahead of the summer transfer window, sources have told Football Insider.

Speaking on the latest edition of Football Insider's Inside Track podcast, senior correspondent Pete O'Rourke revealed that a number of clubs are keeping tabs on the 28-year-old's situation and urged fans to "keep an eye on this" developing transfer situation.

The midfielder is set to enter the final year of his contract and could be allowed to leave after struggling to nail down a place in Postecoglou's starting XI.

Spurs feel this summer would be their last opportunity to raise funds from his sale as no progress has been made towards the offer of a new contract.

Former Spurs scout Mick Brown told Football Insider in March that Tottenham plan to accept offers for Bissouma, who is not part of the manager's long-term plans.

The Mali international has started 26 of his 40 appearances so far this season and has played the fewest minutes of any player with over 30 appearances.

Yves Bissouma nears Tottenham exit after 'crunch talks' held

Football Insider revealed on 3 March that Tottenham will hold “crunch talks” with Bissouma about his place in the squad ahead of the summer.

Having signed a four-year deal when he arrived from Brighton in 2022, the midfielder has never put pen to paper over an extension, with no new offer on the table.

Doubts about his role in the side have emerged, while they are expected to target midfield additions in the summer which could force him further down the pecking order.

Football Insider revealed in February that Tottenham want to sign Adam Wharton from Crystal Palace in an attempt to bolster their midfield.

As a result, they are prepared to entertain offers for Bissouma which could boost their transfer kitty and allow for increased spending in the window.

Dean Huijsen update emerges as Spurs join transfer race

Postecoglou is aiming to strengthen his Tottenham squad this summer in a number of positions despite uncertainty about his future at the club.

Brown told Football Insider on 9 May that Tottenham want to sign Bournemouth star Dean Huijsen as part of major improvements to their starting XI.

However, there are doubts about whether they would be able to convince Huijsen to join ahead of the likes of Liverpool, Arsenal and Real Madrid.

This comes after Football Insider revealed in March that Liverpool could trigger Huijsen’s release clause which is believed to be set at around £50million.
