Manuel Lanzini has agreed the terms of a new contract with West Ham worth £100,000-a-week, Football Insider can reveal.

The Argentina playmaker, 26, has finalised negotiations over a bumper package that will lift him into the top bracket of earners at London Stadium.

A West Ham source has told Football Insider that Lanzini has reached agreement on a four-year deal that will be worth £26million in total.

The two parties have now come to an agreement and the deal is set to be announced by the Hammers in the next 24 hours.

Lanzini has made it clear he would be happy to extend his stay at the London Stadium, which began when he joined in 2015, initially on loan from Al-Jaziri, before completing a permanent transfer 12 months later.

His current deal expires next year, but the new agreement will see him commit to the club until 2024.

Manuel Pellegrini is a big admirer of Lanzini and has selected the attacking midfielder in the starting XI for each of the club's three league matches this season.

He has supplied two assists to take his tally in a West Ham shirt to 21 goals and 19 assists from 112 appearances in all competitions.
