Celtic have agreed for defenders Jack Hendry and Calvin Miller to join Kilmarnock in a double deal with Greg Taylor heading the other way, Football Insider understands.

Scotland international centre-back Hendry, 24, and left-back Miller, 21, are set to simultaneously move to Rugby Park following extensive negotiations between the clubs over the structure of the Taylor deal.

A Celtic source has told Football Insider that paperwork on the transfers of the Hoops defensive pair is set to be finalised today, ahead of the Scottish window cut-off tomorrow night.

Hendry is set to join Kilmarnock on a season-long loan, while Miller is expected to move permanently to the Ayrshire club.

Neil Lennon has given the green light for Hendry to go out loan after he failed to make a matchday squad in the first months of this new season.

The centre-back, who has three more years remaining on his Celtic contract after signing from Dundee in January of last year for a fee of around £1.2million, has failed to add to his 26 Hoops appearances since Lennon took over as manager in February.

Celtic academy product Miller has a year remaining on his contract and is surplus to requirements after failing to make an impression under Lennon.

Capped by Scotland at Under-21 level, he is set to leave Parkhead after making five first-team appearances.
