Everton and Leicester target Jakub Moder is set for a medical at Feyenoord after they agreed a fee with Brighton, sources have told Football Insider.

The Dutch side are poised to win the race for Moder's signature after agreeing a fee of £1.2million with the Seagulls.

He has been given permission to hold talks and undergo a medical with the Eredivisie champions.

Everton and Leicester were interested in Moder but Feyenoord have moved quickly to agree a deal for the 25-year-old.

He has played just seven times across all competitions for Brighton so far in the 2024-25 campaign.

The Poland international's only two starts of the season have come in the League Cup and he has played just 160 club minutes this term.

Moder has been a regular on the international stage, featuring in five of Poland's six Nations League games against Scotland, Croatia and Portugal.

He has been with Brighton since joining from Lech Poznan in 2020 and has made 71 appearances for the Seagulls.

Moder, who has earned 31 total caps for Poland, can play as a defensive midfielder as well as in a more attacking midfield role.

Everton

The 25-year-old's Amex Stadium contract was set to expire at the end of this season but he has now agreed a move to Dutch giants Feyenoord.

Brian Priske's side sit fourth in the Eredivisie table and are well placed to progress to the knockout playoff stages of the Champions League.
