Pontus Jansson has revealed his delight on Twitter after Pablo Hernandez completed a permanent switch to Leeds.

Posting on his personal Twitter account, Sweden international Jansson tweeted "Grande Pablo" followed by two clapping emojis as the Spaniard officially completed his move from Qatari club Al-Arabi.

Hernandez has been pivotal for the Yorkshire giants this season, starring behind top scorer Chris Wood in a advanced midfield role as he orchestrates Leeds' attacks.

Wearing the number 19 shirt, Hernandez has had a hand in six goals during his 15 league appearances for Leeds this season, scoring three of himself and turning provider against the likes of Barnsley, Norwich and Rotherham.

On loan from Serie A side Torino, Jansson looks set to join Hernandez in signing a permanent deal this month after his agent revealed the details of a clause in the 25-year-old's contract.

Swedish outlet Fotbollskanalen report that he must play two more games before Leeds pay a sum of £3.4million to his parent club, where England international Joe Hart currently resides.

Currently on 20 league and cup appearances, Jansson could move to within one game of a permanent move by featuring against League Two side Cambridge United on Monday night.

Monk is expected to ring the changes as the two sides go head-to-head in the third round of the FA Cup, but Jansson could be given a role to push him closer to the magic number of 22.
