Leeds United have joined the chase to sign Czech sensation Abdallah Sima ahead of the summer window, Football Insider can reveal.

The Yorkshire giants are beginning the process of lining up potential targets for what is expected to be another significant recruitment drive.

A Leeds source has told Football Insider that the club are keeping close tabs on Slavia Prague forward Sima, 19, following his remarkable rise this season.

He is getting attention from multiple Premier League clubs well aware of the gems emerging from the previously ignored Czech market.

Leeds manager Marcelo Bielsa is keen on attacking reinforcements in this summer's window and Sima fits the profile he is after.

Sima has been targeted by Everton as well as linked with Arsenal, Man United and West Ham, who have had huge success in the Czech market with the captures of Tomas Soucek and Vladimir Coufal.

The teenager has scored 19 goals in 36 matches this season for the Czech league leaders, four of which have come in the Europa League.

He has an outstanding goals-per-minute ratio and his reputation soared on the back of his match-clinching goal that knocked Leicester City out of the Europa League.

The teenager only made his senior debut last November and has made a huge impression in the subsequent months.

Blisteringly quick, he operates in a right-sided attacking role although he plays quite narrow and close to goal.

Senegalese Sima joined Slavia last year following a short stint at Czech second-league outfit MAS Taborsko.
