Michy Batshuayi is set for a sensational £33million transfer to Chelsea, according to a report.

The Guardian claim that the in-demand striker has agreed the terms of a move to Stamford Bridge and has been given dispensation by Belgium to undergo a medical with the west London club.

It is said that Batshuayi will leave the Belgium squad preparing for Friday's Euro 2016 quarter-final against Belgium to sign a five-year contract with Chelsea.

A stunning deal could be wrapped up in the next 24 hours for Batshuayi to become the first signing of new Stamford Bridge manager Antonio Conte.

Chelsea have acted with ruthless efficiency to blow Juventus and London rivals Tottenham, West Ham and Crystal Palace out of the water to land Batshauyi.

Spurs have held lengthy talks with Marseille about a deal for Batshuayi but were reluctant to pay a combination of the £30million-plus asking price and the player's £100,000-a-week salary demands.

French publication L'Equipe claim Palace tabled an offer on Monday for the Belgium striker of £31.7million plus top-up bonuses.

It is said Marseille have agreed the fee, and a deal which also includes a sell-on clause, but the player had reservations about the move and has reportedly now decided to move to Palace.

Batshuayi revealed last month that he was keen on a move to the Premier League, and now appears to have been granted his wish.

Batshuayi, who netted for Belgium in their 4-0 Euro 2016 win over Slovakia last Sunday, scored 24 goals and supplied 10 assists in 51 matches in all competitions for Marseille this season, including 17 goals and nine assists from 36 Ligue 1 encounters.
