Newcastle United are holding new talks in London today with Tosin Adarabioyo’s representatives, sources have told Football Insider

Adarabioyo is being offered a triple-your-money contract to join the Magpies ahead of his Fulham contract expiring at the end of June.

Sources say negotiations are now at an advanced stage and a deal is close to being agreed for Adarabioyo to join Newcastle on a free transfer.

The centre-back has rejected multiple contract extension offers to remain at Craven Cottage beyond this summer.

Tosin Adarabioyo could leave Fulham to join Newcastle

Adarabioyo has commanded plenty of interest in recent months following his impressive performances since Fulham returned to the Premier League.

The Manchester-born defender has now made 132 appearances for the Cottagers after arriving from Manchester City back in 2020.

Football Insider revealed last month Tottenham have been in regular dialogue with Adarabioyo’s representatives about him making the switch to north London this summer.

But Newcastle have stolen a march on their Premier League rivals and talks are now at an advanced stage as they look to secure his services at St James’ Park.

Eddie Howe’s side finished seventh in the table, meaning they will be playing in the Europa Conference League next season if Manchester United fail to beat Manchester City in the upcoming FA Cup final.

Adarabioyo made 25 appearances for Fulham in all competitions across the campaign, but he didn’t feature in any of their final four games ahead of his expected exit from Craven Cottage this summer.
