Newcastle United are willing to sell Kieran Trippier in the last 11 days of the summer window, sources have told Football Insider.

Trippier’s future at St James’ Park is now in doubt after he was left out of the starting line-up for Saturday’s opening-day win against Southampton.

Lewis Hall and Tino Livramento were chosen ahead of Trippier, who has had a shorter pre-season due to his Euro 2024 campaign.

The 33-year-old has one year left on his Newcastle contract, and his house was up for sale earlier in the summer.

Eddie Howe would prefer to keep Trippier for the upcoming season due to his experience and knowledge of the Premier League.

However, an offer of £15million or above could force Newcastle’s hand into selling him.

Newcastle United will look to cash in on Kieran Trippier

After two-and-a-half years at the club, Newcastle are now ready to cash in on the England international.

Trippier has made 92 appearances for the Magpies in all competitions, scoring four goals and providing 23 assists.

Clubs in the Saudi Pro League have been monitoring the versatile full-back, and they are set to make some late bids for Premier League players after determining their finances.

Newcastle are also looking to strengthen their defensive options before the 31st August cut-off, with Marc Guehi being their number one target.
