The odds have been slashed on Liverpool signing Hull City left-back Andrew Robertson after speculation the deal is done.

The Mirror claim the Merseyside giants are poised to announce the signing of the 23-year-old when the summer transfer window opens on 1 July

It is said that Jurgen Klopp had won the race for Robertson even before Hull's 4-0 defeat to Crystal Palace ended their Premier League survival bid.

Bookmakers were quick to respond to the speculation and shortened the odds on the defender making to move to Anfield before the summer transfer window closes.

Bet Victor priced Liverpool at 6/4 to sign Robertson on Sunday evening, comfortably ahead of next-placed Burnley (4/1) and West Ham (5/1).

Liverpool appear to have taken advantage of Robertson's contractual situation at Hull, where he has just a year remaining on his contract.

This term he has been a mainstay for the Humberside club this season, making 39 appearances in all competitions, including 31 Premier League starts.
