Sheffield United target Jesurun Rak-Sakyi is undergoing a medical at the club on Monday, sources have told Football Insider.

The 20-year-old has been in demand this summer but agreed to join Sheffield United on loan last week.

It is believed that other clubs were also interested in him, with the likes of Queens Park Rangers, Hull City, and Watford holding talks over a possible deal for the right-winger.

The move will give the youngster his first chance at regular first-team football in the second tier after impressing for Palace during pre-season.

The transfer will benefit all parties involved, with Rak-Sakyi gaining more experience throughout the season.

The winger impressed during a spell with Charlton in the 2022-23 campaign, scoring 15 goals and providing nine assists across 49 games.

Unfortunately, he was unable to secure regular playing time for Palace last season due to injury problems.

This move would mark the third major loan deal of the summer for the Blades, who have already signed Harry Souttar and Alfie Gilchrist on temporary deals.

Chris Wilder’s men started the new Championship campaign with a 2-0 win against Preston North End.
