Rangers have agreed a three-year contract with Everton rising star Cameron Bell, Football Insider understands.

Now Ibrox sources have told Football Insider that a full agreement is in place for Bell to sign for Rangers and a deal is set to be announced soon.

Rangers

It comes after Rangers confirmed on Thursday (30 July) they have signed 15-year-old Bailey Rice from Motherwell, news of which was also broken by Football Insider on Wednesday.

Bell is poised to make it a hat-trick after agreeing to accept Rangers' contract offer.

Like Lovelace, Bell would be able to sign professional terms with Rangers, with Scottish FA rules allowing them to do so at the age of 16, a year earlier than in England.

Bell turned 16 in January of this year and is so highly rated he has been capped by Scotland at Under-17 level.

He spent last season in the Everton Under-18s and is regarded as a player capable of playing senior international football in the future.

Rangers

Rangers have not only taken advantage of the higher profile generated by their remarkable run to last season's Europa League final.

But the are also exploiting their main advantage over Premier League teams, which is a clearer pathway to senior football.
