Both directors are expected to play a pivotal role in the day-to-day running of the club, including input to their transfer strategy this summer.

Rangers make two behind-the-scenes changes ahead of summer spree

Gers are expected to strike deals for a new left-back, central midfielder and striker ahead of the 2024-25 campaign.

The board are eager to back Philippe Clement after his superb start as manager this season.

They currently sit second in the Scottish Premiership table behind arch-rivals Celtic, but they boast a game in hand which could send them top.
