The recruitment team at Rangers have highlighted three positions that need to be improved over the summer transfer window, sources have told Football Insider.

The Ibrox club want to sign a new left-back, central midfielder and striker to their squad ahead of the 2024-25 season.

It will be Philippe Clement's first summer window in charge of the side after he succeeded Michael Beale in October 2023.

Gers are currently leading Celtic by two points at the top of the Scottish Premiership table and are on track to qualify for the Champions League next season when it changes format to the Swiss model.
