Samuel Chukwueze is due to arrive at Fulham to undergo a medical as the Londoners try to complete multiple deadline-day deals.

The Nigeria international has been linked with a move to Craven Cottage for much of the summer after falling out of favour at the San Siro.

Christopher Nkunku has been signed by AC Milan, leaving little room for Chukwueze in Massimiliano Allegri's squad.

The 26-year-old made 37 appearances for the Rossoneri last season, but his new boss has been employing a 3-4-2-1 system that leaves no room for the ex-Villarreal winger.

Samuel Chukwueze due to arrive for Fulham medical

Chukwueze was a target for Everton last summer and whilst he is set for a move to the Premier League, his new home will be in London, rather than Liverpool.

The Times reporter Pete Rutzler, who previously reported on Fulham for The Athletic, revealed on X that the winger is due to arrive at the club on Deadline Day for a medical.

This comes a day after Kevin arrived in West London to complete a medical ahead of a prospective record-breaking move from Shakhtar Donetsk in Ukraine.

Fulham's previous record signing was Emile Smith Rowe, who joined the Cottagers from Arsenal last summer for a fee that could rise to £34million [Sky Sports].

Kevin's move to Fulham is expected to cost Marco Silva's side in the region of €40m (£34.7m).

Fulham set for hectic Deadline Day to appease Marco Silva

Football Insider Verdict

The Whites' boss has been vociferously outspoken this summer about his unhappiness with the transfer business done so far.

Fulham have made one move so far this window, bringing in Benjamin Lecomte to act as a back-up goalkeeper for Bernd Leno.

After being just three points shy of Champions League places in March, the Whites crumbled at the back end of last season.

Fulham looked lacking in offensive firepower and ran out of steam in their pursuit of European football.

But having spent the summer doing little, it appears that Tony Khan has finally awoken from his slumber to attempt to appease Silva, who has just one year remaining on his contract at Craven Cottage.

Time will tell if the deals to sign Kevin, Chukwueze, and whoever else could come in the door will be enough to satisfy Silva.
