Swansea forward Oli McBurnie has admitted he has been blown away by Jamie Murphy after watching his competitive debut for Rangers against Aberdeen at Ibrox on Wednesday night. Murphy, 28, was snapped up by Graeme Murty on loan earlier this month and it is believed there is a clause in the deal that can make his move from Brighton permanent in the summer. The former Motherwell attacker was straight into the action against the Dons on Wednesday when he put in a brilliant shift as the Light Blues went on to win 2-0 courtesy of goals from Alfredo Morelos and James Tavernier. McBurnie, 21, makes no secret of his support for Rangers and was thoroughly impressed with Murphy against Derek McInnes' side. "Love Jamie Murphy, what a signing he's gonna turn out to be," he said on his

during the game.

McBurnie has struggled for game time at Swansea this season, making just two starts in the Premier League. Murphy was finding it equally as tough at Brighton before he switched to Ibrox, making just four league appearances and one start. The ex-Sheffield United ace was a key player in Chris Hughton's side's push for promotion from the Championship last season when they finished runners-up to Newcastle, but was straight down the pecking order once they reached the top-flight. Now at Rangers, Murphy appeared to show that he was in his element with a fine outing on the left wing against Aberdeen. In other Rangers news,
