Sorry Sinclair, you miss out on top spot in Celtic five best signings made in Rodgers era
COMMENT
Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has been a massive success for the Hoops so far since taking over at the Parkhead club in May 2016.
His first season was incredible, as the Hoops won their first domestic treble since 2001, and completed an unbeaten league season for the first time since the 1890s.
This season might not have been as fluid, but the Hoops have still made history, setting a British record of 69 domestic matches without defeat, and they are once more on the verge of winning another domestic treble, a feat which would be unprecedented in Scottish football.
One of the major aspects of Rodgers' time in Glasgow has been his signing policy.
He seems to prefer quality over quantity in the purchases he makes, as some of the team mainstays featured for the side which underperfomed badly under the management of Ronny Deila.
Some of the signings have been major successes, and pivotal to the progress made by the club in the last two seasons.

5. SCOTT BAIN
The January loan signing from Dundee has only played three games so far for the Hoops but such has been has impact on the side that he deserves a place on the list.
Made his debut as a replacement for Dorus de Vries in a pivotal Old Firm derby, and turned in a great display, including two vital saves from Alfredo Morelos.
He has made Hoops fans forget about the horrors of some of de Vries' performances for the club, and should the Hoops be able to keep the player on a long-term deal, he will provide real competition to number one goalkeeper Craig Gordon.

4. OLIVIER NTCHAM
The 22-year-old was signed in the summer from Manchester City for a big fee of £4.5million, and has settled in well in his first season with the Hoops.
His partnership in midfield with Scott Brown is vital to the team, and his absence in the goalless Old Firm draw in December was a big reason that the Hoops struggled in the game.
Restored back to the team he was man of the match in the recent 3-2 win over Rangers at Ibrox, and he looks to have a big future ahead of him, which will hopefully include a few more seasons in Glasgow.

3. KOLO TOURE
Brendan Rodgers' decision to bring the veteran defender to the club on a free transfer turned out to be a masterstroke.
Rodgers has previously worked with the Ivorian at Liverpool, and his experience was put to good use early in his career at the club as he helped the Hoops navigate a hazardous Champions League qualification process.
Injuries eventually took their toll and Toure lost his place in the side, but he was a great performer for the Bhoys in his brief time at the club and he is now part of the coaching staff as a technical assistant to the Hoops boss.

2. SCOTT SINCLAIR
Arrived at the Hoops with a point to prove after a stagnant few years at Aston Villa, and the £3.5million has certainly done that in his time at the club.
The Englishman's first season with the Hoops was a dream, as he was deservedly named Scottish player of the year after scoring 25 goals in 50 matches as he terrorised teams with his pace and trickery.
This season the 29-year-old may have failed to hit the heights he set last season, but he is still the Hoops' top scorer with 17 goals and if he can recapture his form he will be a huge player for the rest of the season.

1. MOUSSA DEMBELE
The 21-year-old Frenchman has been a sensation since joining the Hoops from Fulham for a fee of around £500,000, which must go down as one of the steals of the decade.
His first season will go down in Hoops folklore, as he scored the first league hat-trick in an Old Firm game since 1966, scoring 32 goals in the process.
This season he might not have been as prolific, but he has still chipped in with big goals against the likes of PSG and Rangers.
When he eventually leaves the Hoops receive a huge fee for the player, but the support will be hoping that he stays for another season at least.
