Sources: Andre Onana says 'yes' to Man United as deal all but done

Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana has said "yes" to a move to Man United, sources have told Football Insider.

United are confident of closing a deal for Onana and are willing to pay £45million to get it done.

The former number one was released by the Red Devils following the expiration of his contract on 30 June.

Ten Hag was believed to have reservations over the shot stopper and "didn't trust" him as their number one.

The Dutchman has however spent time with top target Onana at Ajax and the pair are believed to have a good relationship.

The Cameroon international's current contract in Italy runs until 2027 after he joined from the Eredivisie side last summer.

Speaking after Inter's narrow defeat to Man City in the Champions League last month, Onana said he is "happy" at the Serie A club but says he will let the club decide where they see his future.

The keeper made 41 appearances for Inter across all competitions last season and kept 19 clean sheets and conceded 36 goals in those outings.
