Mateusz Klich has accepted a Leeds United contract offer and is set to become the latest star to sign a long-term deal, Football Insider can reveal.

A Leeds source has told Football Insider that Klich has told the club he will accept an offer that includes a significant pay hike as negotiations are finalised.

It will replace his current deal, which is due to expire at the end of the season.

Klich is set to become the fifth senior Leeds player within a month to pen a long-term deal following Kalvin Phillips, Liam Cooper, Stuart Dallas and Luke Ayling.

Marcelo Bielsa has sanctioned the blitz of new contracts as he looks to tie down the key players in the squad and the ones he thinks can take a step up to the Premier League should the club succeed in securing promotion.

The Poland international has become a priority for Leeds after interest from Premier League clubs led by Burnley during the summer as well as teams across Europe.

He has been transformed from a fringe player who was allowed to go out on loan midway through his first season into a first-team untouchable.

Remarkably, Klich has started 58 consecutive league matches for Leeds stretching back to the opening game of last season.

The midfielder is also a mainstay of the Poland team and secured his 21st cap during the most recent international break.

In other Leeds United news, it can be REVEALED that Radrizzani is spearheading work on a  BLOCKBUSTER big-money plan.
