Leeds United are ready to add a central midfielder, left-back and striker in their next wave of summer transfer business, sources have told Football Insider.

The Whites have already wrapped up deals for Joe Rodon, Ethan Ampadu, Karl Darlow and Sam Byram since relegation from the Premier League in May.

But a number of key players have also left the club, including last season's top scorer Rodrigo Moreno - who has moved to Qatar.

As such, Leeds have drawn up a list of key striker targets with Patrick Bamford currently out through injury.

Football Insider revealed on Friday (18 August) that Norwich City striker Josh Sargent is being targeted by the Whites.

Manager Daniel Farke signed the United States international during his time at Carrow Road and is now eyeing a reunion with the 23-year-old.

Meanwhile, a central midfielder has also been identified as a priority for Farke with an exit for Tyler Adams remaining a real possibility.

Football Insider revealed on Tuesday (15 August) that Bournemouth have moved ahead of Brighton in the race to sign Adams.

The United States international remains out injured at present, and another injury is causing panic in the Leeds ranks - with Junior Firpo remaining on the treatment table.

Firpo could be on the sidelines until mid-September and is currently being replaced in the side by young Leo Hjelde.

As such, Leeds are keen to add another left-back option to their complement of summer signings.

Farke's side have picked up just one point from their opening two Championship fixtures following relegation from the Premier League.

The Yorkshire giants are next in action against West Brom on Friday (18 August).
