Liverpool are willing to listen to offers for international forward Liam Miller in January, Football Insider understands.

The Canada international, 19, has been loaned out for the season to SPL club Kilmarnock, his second spell on loan at the club.

A Liverpool source has told Football Insider the club are willing to sell Millar in the winter window amid major doubts he will make the breakthrough at Anfield.

The teenager has been capped six times by the Canada national side but his Liverpool contract expires next summer and he faces an uphill battle to secure an extension.

The January window could represent the last chance for Liverpool to secure a major fee for the versatile forward.

Millar spent the second half of last season on loan at Rugby Park, scoring once.

He returned there this summer after featuring in two games during Canada's run in the CONCACAF Gold Cup as well as for the Champions League winners in a friendly against Bradford City.

Millar has operated mainly on the left side of the Kilmarnock attack this season, with his nine matches in all competitions yielding one goal and one assist.

In addition to a posse of world-class attackers blocking his path to the team of his parent club, Millar is also behind Xherdan Shaqiri as well as rising stars Curtis Jones, Harvey Elliott and Rhian Brewster in the pecking order for first team chances.
