Leicester City, Southampton, Crystal Palace and Fulham have joined Aston Villa in bidding for Luton Town star James Justin, Football Insider understands.

Villa face stiff competition to sign the flying full-back this summer after he played an instrumental role in Luton's promotion from League One to the Championship.

A source close to the situation has told Football Insider that Leicester, Southampton, Crystal Palace and Fulham have all made similar offers for Justin as they aim to bolster their defensive options ahead of next season.

Justin finds himself one of the most in-demand players during this summer's transfer window after another impressive season at Luton.

The 21-year-old, who can play at right-back or left-back, was named in the League One Team of the Year for his exploits.

Luton are now weighing up the offers for Justin, but it seems likely the defender will leave Kenilworth Road this summer given that he is out of contract in 12 months.

In other Aston Villa news, it can be REVEALED that the club are plotting a swoop to sign a Rangers 27-year-old.
