Wolves and Queens Park Rangers are plotting moves to sign West Brom sensation Ethan Ingram, sources have told Football Insider.

The 19-year-old Hawthorns academy product is in the final 18 months of his contract and his future is up in the air.

Wolves are in the market for a new right-back and they regard England Under-20 international Ingram as someone with huge potential for the future.

QPR are also looking at long-term right-back options with Ethan Laird expected to return to Man United after his loan spell at Loftus Road.

Ingram made his senior debut at The Hawthorns during a Carabao Cup defeat to Arsenal in August 2021.

His second and most recent senior appearance also came in the League Cup, as he played 45 minutes in August's 1-0 defeat to Derby County.

The full-back caught the eye during a memorable 2020/21 campaign, starting every game in Albion’s FA Youth Cup run to the semi-finals and earning several starts in the club’s Premier League 2 side.

Ingram signed his first professional contract in the summer of 2021, before playing a regular role in Richard Beale's Under-23s over the 2021/22 campaign, a role he has continued into the current season.

The defender has started all but one of Albion's PL2 games this season scoring once and providing three assists for his teammates.

He has also made three appearances for the England Under 20 side this season.

West Brom are next in action against Bristol City in the FA Cup on Saturday (28 January).
